TEDxTCU invites you to engage in a meaningful conversation this spring! On April 17, we will provide Horned Frogs the opportunity to talk about one element of our mission statement–responsible citizenship. Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” the TEDx program is designed to give communities the opportunity to create dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
We believe the Horned Frog community has a lot of ideas worth spreading! This spring, we are looking forward to talking about these ideas right here, on the TEDxTCU blog. Beginning today, each TCU student and faculty member has the opportunity to submit one, 250-word reflection on responsible citizenship to TEDxTCU. We encourage you to be creative and to think outside the box, as responsible citizenship can take many forms. Your submissions will be published on this blog for our community to read and discuss. In March, the planning committee will select five contributors who will ultimately present at the event in April. Got an idea about responsible citizenship? Submit it to us at TEDxTCU@gmail.com.
To learn more, follow us on Twitter at @TEDxTCU. Information about reservations for the event will be available in the upcoming weeks.
Update: Please submit a title along with your essay when emailing TEDxTCU@gmail.com. Thanks!
